Grants of up to $4,000 to California government agencies, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, community and faith-based organizations, childcare providers, groups, and individuals in eligible locations for projects serving young children and families. Funding is for short-term projects that benefit children 0 through 5 years of age and their families in Yuba County.
The purpose of the Mini Grant Program is to encourage and involve members of the community to support the well-being of Yuba County children by enhancing existing community resources that aim to improve the health and development of infants, toddlers or preschoolers so that they enter kindergarten ready to learn. Awards provide community members, agencies and childcare providers a small grant for a short-term project or service, awards are not intended for program sustainability.
